Toyota to use Hybrid for Racing

With Toyota being one of the strongest proponents of hybrid technology,
thanks to the high selling Prius and a range of other hybrid models
which have even grown to include the Lexus lineup, the hybrid
aficionados at Toyota are looking towards racing to incorporate the
technology.
Toyota’s research and development team are looking to the 24 hours
of Le Mans as a place to showcase their prowess in developing efficient
and reliable hybrid technology, which has already helped to make the
Prius and other models popular sellers at , and will allow Toyota to further show off the reliability and durability of their hybrid system.
