allegiance and the leadership

Different leaders have different ideas about leadership. For example, see below Jack Welch’s perspective, which even though quite modern compared to many leaders, is nevertheless based on quite traditional leadership principles.

First here is a deeper more philosophical view of effective modern leadership which addresses the foundations of effective leadership, rather than the styles and methods built on top, which are explained later.

Lateral Thinking Outside the Box of Chocolates

Feeling stuck? There are steps to take that will lead you outside of that box!
We all get stuck at times. Even the best of us are stymied, unable to come up with an answer, and just essentially mentally blocked occasionally. Sometimes it seems the harder you try to figure out a problem, the more elusive the answer becomes. The harder you try to write a good story, the further away the plot goes. Do you throw your hands up in the air in frustration? Do you declare yourself stupid? Do you relinquish the task to someone else wishing you were better at “thinking outside of the box??

The Dancers Secret of Attaining the Ultimate High
June 11, 2008 | Leave a Comment
Dancers have a secret that keeps them coming back for more. It is what keeps them dancing year after year. Discover what they know to be the “Ultimate High”
Why Dancers Do What They Do
I have been salsa dancing now for over 10 years. I have taken my breaks in between life’s curve balls but I always come back. What is it that draws me back in? What is it that drives me to stay out late, get few hours of sleep, and dance with partners who are less than pleasant? It is for that feeling that every salsa dancer, who has been doing it for a good period of time, looks for. It is that moment when everything else falls away, to reveal two people connecting on a deep, awake, and very present level.

Who is eating at your buffet?

Do you tend to attract lovely people into your life or negative people into your life? Resonance is the key. What you put out comes back to you in your relationships and your experiences…Find out how to attract the relationships you desire.
We are multi-dimensional beings, whether we are consciously aware of it or not. We exist in a multitude of dimensions, realities, and time lines simultaneously. I also believe there are angels, ascended masters, and “entities” that exist in much the same way that we do. (entities is a catch all word I use for dark, dense energies that have an intelligence of their own).

We are Always a Work in Progress
April 10, 2008 | Leave a Comment
No matter who you are, you are always a work in progress even when applying the Law of Attraction.
No matter how confident you may be, or how insecure you are, we are all works in progress, constantly creating and growing our experiences. This will go on until the day we leave this wonderful world. There will always be another desire for you once you have achieved all your other desires. And there will always be more to aspire to within yourself.

Belief in Action with the Law of Attraction
April 7, 2008 | Leave a Comment
Do you put your belief in action? By believing and acting the Universe will bring you what you desire in your life through the Law of Attraction.
You’ve been thinking good thoughts over and over again, and you have been reciting your affirmations each and every day, and nothing has changed. You’ve become bored with the whole process of the Law of Attraction. This means it’s time to put your belief into action.
The Law of Attraction is a wonderful theory and it inspires and gives hope but many people stop short there. They think just thinking and affirming is going to give them all they desire. The Law of Attraction is something that takes dedication, and a long look inside yourself.

Are You a Nester or a Traveler?

The “life line” in your palms indicates your love of or disinterest in travel. You may be surprised at what your lifeline does and does not tell you.

Your love of or disinterest in travel is indicated by the “life line” in your palms. Your life line is NOT an indicator of the length of your life but rather it tells me about your ability to rest and take time off from work, how safe you feel in your body and on the planet, your family and security issues, and whether you have a “tight leash” keeping you close to home or a wanderer’s heart.
