From the beginning, man has been preoccupied with the question of divinity-who is responsible for us being here and how do we relate to the Creator. All primitive peoples have developed some kind of world-view which they expressed through myths, legend or stories. All life was viewed as dependent on a force which transcended the visible world. This force was honored through specific rites and rituals. How was illness and environmental disturbances or disasters interpreted in this world view?-as discord or disharmony between the human, environmental, and spiritual realms. Disease was viewed as disunity and so early on the art of healing was bound up with an ability to appease the spirit world, please the gods and counter curses.

Yes, that’s my topic in this article. I’ve heard these reasons, and more, for not setting and pursuing goals. The people that give these reasons really believe them. And, every one of these reasons work!

What does that mean? It means that if you use any of them, they will help you NOT reach your goal!

Reason #1: I don’t know how.

Botox has now been used for a number of years for men and women that are intent on hiding the signs of aging; there is however, still a great deal of ignorance about how it achieves the results it does. Before this can be done we need to go back a little in time to when this was originally discovered.

Got Friends?

Do you have friends? Of course you do. So do I. Do you see your friends? Do you grab lunches, take walks, chat on the phone? If your answer to these questions is yes, then Bravo! However, if you’re like me, you may feel as if you don’t have time to cultivate and nurture friendships.
The people that we meet when we are immersed in school or our first jobs, are the ones that become true friends because we have the luxury of time. Time to hang out, time to share ups and downs and time to share experiences.

1. Separate business from personal

If you use your home office for business purposes and for personal purposes, try to separate the two as much as possible. Definitely make sure that you separate business receipts from personal receipts. If you don’t, be prepared for an accounting nightmare at the end of the year when you try to get your taxes in order. When organizing a home office, try to keep all of your business items in one area and all of your personal items in another area.

2. Create a home office file organization system

What I share with you in this issue is a fact of life that I have come to accept in the course of my rise to adulthood - and since. In many societies, children and young people in general are often told - by adults - to be respectful and obedient to older others i.e. adults they have relations with. In some cultures, the indoctrination is so deep/intensive that by the time the young people grow up into adulthood, they end up without the ability to challenge persons older than them/in positions of authority even when they are being abused by the latter.

I Am Normal

June 10, 2008 | Leave a Comment

My life was never easy. Diagnosed with depression and anxiety when I was 17 years old, I have been living a life of self destruction, suicidal thoughts and darkness. My depression is partly genetic as my mum suffers from it too and partly environmental because of the way I grew up. My mother, younger sister and I were victims of physical and verbal abuse at the hands of my father. I grew up thinking that it was normal to be abused, that I never deserved to be loved and that I would never amount to anything. I am 30 years old now and although the physical pain goes away, being called stupid and worthless since childhood never does. I trained myself to never expect anything like love or a relationship because those were things that happened to “normal” people, not me.

When he first pops the question, most women immediately have a vision in their minds of how they’ll look as they stride down the aisle. You may have planned your dream wedding dress since you were five - or maybe you’re panicked thinking about what to wear now that the day has finally arrived!

If you’re not a celebrity in Hollywood, then your wedding dress will probably be the most expensive piece of clothing you ever own - unless you take the budget route and cut costs on your gown.

In reading the “Handbook for a New Paradigm” telepathically channeled by George Green and which anyone can download for free.

I found myself achieving a level of self awareness and heightened consciousness that I have experienced with few other documents I have ever read. One literally becomes transformed simply in the reading of it.

One of the many points that are brought forth in this critically important document is something called the Universal Law of Attraction.

It states essentially that you “get back whatever you put out”.

It’s like an argument between a husband and wife. There is a disagreement, points are made, the yelling starts and then, somewhere down the line, one of them or both lose track of what the argument is about. That is the way I see recovery from alcoholism. It doesn’t matter who started the argument, the primary concern is to end it.
