Creativity - Unleash Your Potential

The holidays are a time that challenges your creativity - That perfect gift for a loved one; decorations for your home; something different for the dinner menu; etc. The one aspect of the holidays many people overlook is oneself. Oneself you might shriek - I do not have time. If you cannot give to yourself and connect with your spirit, how can you truly connect to another?

How do you accomplish giving to yourself when you are already stretched to the max? Begin by giving yourself a gift of taking care of your health during this stressful time where the ayurvedic dosha (vata) can begin to accumulate. To balance this vata you need to engage in vata pacifying activities: Such as meditation, and breathing deeply frequently; giving yourself a warm sesame oil massage, using a pinch of grated ginger and lime juice prior to a heavy meal.

Then, because you are taking good care of yourself, you will have the energy balance to unleash your creativity and you will be able to shine, which is a rewarding experience. It is up to you to break out of the mundane routine of gift buying and begin to become creative; not only in your gift ideas, but also in creating space in your mind to forgive those who have hurt you in the past and in creating new intentions for the new year.

Without creativity life is dull or has little joy. You are the enigma. Your creativity fills the empty spaces and defies gravity in a dance on a stage. With your creativity you feed the void of emptiness in people’s hearts and minds to help them ponder the great mysteries of the universe and to create their own creative potential.
