Work From Home Sweet Home
June 10, 2008 | Leave a Comment
Work from Home is one of the hottest themes of the hour.
This reachable dream has become highly contagious and more people than ever before would like to start earning home business dollars from the comfort of their own home sweet homes.
It is a subject in which almost everybody is interested, and about which it is not polite to say that anybody involved is not well informed; for, although there are scattered through the world many people that want to start their own home based business, sorry to say, a lot of them are unable or unwilling to pay for the basic work from home business start up, but it has never been yet heard of anyone of them unable to pass judgment or being opinionated on the subject.

The Apprentice - Could you do better?

Do you watch the apprentice and always think to yourself - I could do better than that. If you do then have a look here for a like minded opinion.
Do you watch the apprentice and always think to yourself - I could do better than that. I absolutely love the way that the apprentice gets you involved in the programme.
I often think to myself how can you not understand the task that has been set for you by Sir Alan Sugar. Why does nobody at the start of each task actually seem to sit down and analyse exactly what the task is about. Each week they all seem to run about like headless chickens and not concentrate on the major aspect of the task.

Systems — Your Ticket To Freedom!
March 12, 2008 | Leave a Comment
Small business owners are famous for working hard to build their dream, but without effective systems in place, these dreams often turn into nightmares. Life becomes an endless, overwhelming to-do list — daily running ever faster on the proverbial gerbil wheel to catch up and keep up. They’re headed for burnout, yet taking time off can be tough.
If you had to take time away from your business, could someone step in and take over without facing confusing challenges and wasting time figuring everything out? Would the business falter or fail? Putting systems in place will free you up to step away when needed. In addition, when you want to sell or hand your business over to others, stepping in to run it will be easier, significantly increasing its value to a potential buyer.

Working With A Virtual Assistant
November 19, 2007 | Leave a Comment
When meeting with a new client I am often asked the question “What can a Virtual Assistant do for me?” While it is easy for me to rhyme off a list of assignments and tasks I perform for other clients, it may not be the kind of work that this new client needs immediate help with. Administration work does have commonalities to it, but every client’s needs are different and unique to them.

To Be Honest, I Woz Just Gonna - And Other Bad Words
November 1, 2007 | Leave a Comment
Some things you shouldn’t say in sales because they make you less believable. Take this classic. Customer, ‘Will this phone work in Europe?’ Reply by salesperson, ‘It ought to.’
What does that mean? The question is simple enough, When I get off the plane at Frankfurt, will I be able to use this item?’ What she or he wants to hear is either, ‘Yes, it will’ or ‘No, that one won’t, let me show you one that does.’
