How do we fulfill God?s purpose in our life
July 31, 2008 | Leave a Comment
A very simple method the Lord Jesus applied to be successful in fulfilling God’s purposes and intentions for His life.
As I was reading the gospels today, I noticed a very simple method the Lord Jesus applied to be successful in fulfilling God’s purposes and intentions for His life.
This method can be clearly seen in Luke 9:51. It says there that: ” ?when the time was come that he (Jesus) should be received up, he steadfastly set His face to go to Jerusalem?. Jesus fixed His eyes and focused on the next part of the vision and purpose of God for His life, and so much so, that when He sent messengers to a village to prepare for Him, the messengers were not received by the villagers, ” ?because his face was as though He would go to Jerusalem?.

TRANSLATION OF COLOSSIANS 3:1-7 FROM THE ORIGINAL LANGUAGE (GREEK)
1If therefore you have been raised with Christ, keep seeking the things above where Christ is seated at the right hand of God. 2Set your minds on the things above, not the things upon the earth. 3For you have died, and your life has been hidden with Christ in God. 4When Christ who is our life has been manifested, you also will be manifested with him in glory. 5Put to death therefore the members upon the earth; sexual immorality, uncleanness, passion, evil desire and covetousness which is idolatry; 6on account of which the wrath of God is coming upon the sons of disobedience. 7In these you also once walked, when you were living in these things.

Leaders Were Called And Are Called To Pay Attention To These Four Hindrances To Revival
June 5, 2008 | Leave a Comment
At a leader’s meeting last month one colleague spoke on the poignant topic of hindrances to Revival.
In so many nations people are praying for Revival, and particularly in Scotland, because we know just how much we need what is commonly called Revival.
Our problems are massive and serious - the breaking up of the family - morals - abortion - financial - issues surrounding binge drinking and drug abuse - apathy - lethargy - materialism and secularism - the list is almost endless. We are in a critical situation and it cannot be sorted out by the government, education, Social Work or by any other means than a Sovereign move of Almighty God.

Making Choices
April 17, 2008 | Leave a Comment
Some people believe that God wants us to live life to the fullest! They choose to expand. They learn to deal with their new choices. They refuse to accept an obstacle as a sign that the choice was wrong. They look to God for help and direction on their new path.
Here in Phoenix, Arizona we like to go hiking and we have numerous choices. There is South Mountain Park with its miles of primary trails for horseback riding, hiking and mountain biking. In the north part of the city is Piestawa Peak with fantastic views as well as secluded valleys.

Yog, also known as Yoga, is the latest buzzword in all sections of society. Everyone seems to have been caught by its charm and the promises made by its proponents. Everyone is looking towards it with the hope of finding solutions to all problems, from a common cold to diabetes, from blood pressure to cancer and AIDS. Can Yog solve these and other problems of mankind??
Is Yog the philosopher’s stone whose touch can rid mankind from all sufferings and miseries? Will Yog bring self-realisation to man and help him in finding the answer to his eternal question: Who am I?

Renovation, Transformation And Metamorphosis
November 24, 2007 | Leave a Comment
Looking at the Church today it is easy to make a comparison to the walls of ancient Jerusalem–the walls are breaking down and sin is entering in with little resistance.
“And they said unto me, The remnant that are left of the captivity there in the province are in great affliction and reproach: the wall of Jerusalem also is broken down, and the gates thereof are burned with fire.” (Nehemiah 1:3)
Rather than the Church influencing today’s society, today’s society is influencing the Church. In other words, the Church looks more like the world than like a pure and spotless Bride preparing herself for her soon-coming Bridegroom.

God As The Ultimate Questioner
November 5, 2007 | Leave a Comment
The purpose of this work is to argue that ‘God, the supreme being, is nothing but the ultimate questioner’, the one “which” asks the (apparently unanswerable) ultimate question about the nature of its own existence, through the existence of life and, in general, the (semi-solipsistic) universe. The sole purpose of this ultimate questioner is the demonstration of its own existence and intelligence. The entire idea of this work is a part of the UQV (Ultimate Questioner’s Vanity) theory.
