You can build your list very quickly by using teleseminars. When people hear your voice and get to know you on your calls, they begin to form a bond with you based on respect and trust. Here is how to build your list using teleseminar strategies that have worked very well for me.

  1. Offer a weekly teleseminar at the same time and on the same day each week. Within three or four weeks people will get used to your call being on that particular day. My weekly calls are free, but you may want to charge people something to have access to the call.

  2. My free weekly teleseminar is my ethical bribe to get people to sign up for my list. If people are even remotely interested in my topic, writing eBooks and learning how to use technology for their online business, they are willing to give me their first name and email address to be invited to my calls.

  3. On my weekly calls I promote the teleseminar programs that are coming up, as well as my other products and affiliate products and services. A free one hour call has made me as much as one thousand dollars during the following week or two.

  4. I leave the line open on my teleseminars so that people can ask me questions while I am teaching them the topic for that week. This makes it easier for us to get to know each other during that one hour call. People can also type in their questions before and during the call so that I can answer them while I am speaking. Many people want me to give their name and website address when I am answering their question. This allows me to promote them to the other people on the call.
