Article marketing is a really powerful method of advertising. However, very few people realize that you can get thousands of visitors to one article. Just imagine if you get this right with a few what will happen to your traffic.

In fact I saw one article on Ezine Articles that has over 50,000 page views over a two year period. You must be wondering how people get this right. You will know after you read this article.

Lets face it if you increase your number of articles all your other numbers will be up. You will have a higher amount of subscribers and also sales. Most of your articles will only get a few page views unless you do what I am about to show you next.

The key ingredient to getting a lot of page views for an article is to do search engine optimization. This means finding keywords that match your target audience that have a lot of traffic with very little competition. If you use a keyword research tool like Wordtracker it is very easy to get a good ranking for a search term that has a KEI over 10. Anything over a 100 is a gift.

Now what you will find is that in the less competitive categories this will be a lot easier to do. The reason for this is that in the more competitive categories search engines like Google will give higher priority to the fresher content. So you may get a good ranking and then lose it when somebody else submits an article that is newer than yours that is similar in topic.

Finally, I have a few articles that get a few hundred page views and one or two that get a few thousand views. So I know that this works, but it takes time to find the right keywords.
